.338 caliber 162gr. Match Grade Armor Piercing

This projectile was extensively tested in factory guns such as the Armalite AR-30 (chambered in .338 Lapua, with a factory 1 in 12 twist) always yielding a sub ½ MOA group and actual 1.8” groups at 400 yds. Muzzle velocities exceeded 3,600 f.p.s. in the AR-30.

The main body is precision turned brass alloy with a 50gr. heat treated carbide steel core insert fused to the brass which actually forms the core and nose. This bullet design combined with the ultra high velocity easily penetrates ¾” steel plate at 200 yards when struck at a 90° angle.
